Peace of Mind for Caregivers.
Sense of Community for Participants.
That’s what Kingsley House means for individuals who are part of our adult day care operations. Caregiver Rebecca Williams shares why Kingsley Adult Day Care is needed now more than ever in this week’s video testimonial (above).
Staying Connected while Staying Apart.
For close to 50 years, Kingsley House has provided day care in a community setting for vulnerable older adults, veterans and medically-fragile individuals with functional and/or cognitive delays.
Since the pandemic, Kingsley House has redesigned our service delivery to remotely conduct wellness checks and provide vital resources, as well as virtually provide experiences typically received on site. Among other service model adjustments, Kingsley’s Adult Day Care team now provides online morning devotion, exercise classes, review of current events and health talks.
However, funding for remote service delivery is not readily available. Your support is vital to ensure continued services as well as allow for development of an innovative delivery model to prevent isolation, gradual loss of independence, decreased social interaction, limited health monitoring, and a decline in overall mental and physical health of our seniors.
