Adult Services

Senior citizens and medically disabled adults thrive when they receive the care and supervision they need. They also enjoy the chance to engage in activities that invigorate the mind and body, and a supportive environment can be extremely beneficial to their overall physical and mental well being.

The Kingsley House Adult Services program provides day care for senior citizens and medically fragile adults. Participants enjoy stimulating social and recreational activities in a safe and stable environment. Our activities range from weekly bingo games, arts and crafts, and field trips, to live music, movies and birthday celebrations. Our objective is to reduce isolation and promote independence, health and well-being among our participants.

The Adult Services program helps maintain our participants’ well-being by providing 2 nutritious, home-cooked meals and a snack each day, along with on-site health care monitoring provided by our nursing staff. We also have full time social workers to provide case management services and transportation is available to and from the facility.

Our Impact

Through these efforts, seniors and disabled adults maintain and even improve mental and physical health, while caregivers work or attend to housing, insurance, and other important resettlement matters.

Throughout the last year:

  • 100% of participants live in safe, stable living environments
  • 84% of families remain intact in a healthy and supportive environment
  • 73% of individuals have improved, maintained or slowed deterioration of their overall physical and mental health
