Family Caregiver 4/17/14 The Provider provides care to the four enrolled children in their perspective homes. The goal is to provide a quality child development experience for every child implementing current Best Practices and Evidence Based Research in Early Childhood Education. The Provider is responsible for behaving in a positive and professional manner, as an appropriate role model for the parents, children and visitors. Master Teacher 4/15/14 The Educare Master Teacher facilitates full and effective implementation of Educare’s core features and evidence-based instructional practices to continuously improve teaching and learning with the aim of accelerating children’s learning, development and school readiness outcomes. Master Teachers provide teacher leadership in the 1) design, delivery and coordination of intensive professional development; 2) education program development; 3) facilitation of interdisciplinary collaboration; and 4) administrative support. The Educare Master Teacher provides leadership and direct supervision to all members of the teaching staff – as well as classroom interns and volunteers – and is responsible for assisting teaching staff in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate daily activities for children of all age groups in the program. Registered Nurse/Supervisor 4/15/14 Provide individualized nursing care to participants enrolled in the Adult Services Program.  Develop plans for care for all Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) participants.  Supervise and monitor tasks completed by the LPN, program aides/certified nursing assistants, nursing, and pharmacy students. Classroom Aide 4/15/14 The Educare Classroom Aide works cooperatively with the Educare Lead Teacher and Educare Assistant Teacher to plan and implement the daily education program for the children. Under the reflective supervision of the Lead Teacher, the Classroom Aide will execute classroom activities and help maintain a classroom environment that are developmentally appropriate and meet the individual needs of children as mandated by federal, state, accreditation and local standards, and that reflect the agency’s philosophy and curriculum – to include Head Start, the Educare Learning Network and Kingsley House. Activities Coordinator 4/15/14 The Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all program activities, which provides opportunity for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression and fulfills basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs, which will be available to all residents of Heritage Senior Residences at Columbia Parc. Assists the physically, emotionally, and cognitively impaired individual and family to explore appropriate avocation/leisure pursuits. Educare Teacher Assistant 4/15/14 The Educare Assistant Teacher works cooperatively with the Educare Lead Teacher to plan and implement the daily education program for the children. Under the reflective supervision of the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher will ensure that all classroom activities and environment are developmentally appropriate and meet the individual needs of children as mandated by federal, state,  local and accreditation standards,  and that they reflect the agency’s philosophy and curriculum – to include Head Start, the Educare Learning Network and Kingsley House. Caregiver Aide 4/14/14 The Caregiver Aide is responsible for sharing in the planning and implementing of daily activities for the children; to perform other job related tasks as requested  by the Teacher, Education Supervisor and/or Program Director; to assume full responsibility of the classroom in the absence of the teacher. Preschool Lead Teacher 4/14/14 The Lead Teacher is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the comprehensive education program in the classroom. The Lead Teacher ensures that the classroom activities and environment are developmentally appropriate and reflect the philosophy and curriculum of Head Start, the Educare Learning Network and Kingsley House. The Lead Teacher ensures that the individual needs of the children are met as mandated by federal, state and local standards. CCC Licensed Therapist 4/10/14  Under the supervision of the Family Life Clinical Director, the Community Counseling Center (CCC) Licensed Therapist will be responsible for the provision of Out-Patient Mental Health Therapy. Janitor/Maintenance 4/9/14 The Janitor works under the direction of the Educare Administrative Coordinator and the Educare Leadership Team to complete all janitorial/housekeeping duties as described below for Educare New Orleans. Volunteer Opportunities

We value the spirit of volunteerism at Kingsley House and appreciate individuals and groups willing to offer their time to help our programs succeed. Opportunities are generally available on an as-needed basis, depending on the seasonal workload of each program, as well as other factors.
