|Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher 3/6/14||The Lead Teacher is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the comprehensive education program in the classroom. The Lead Teacher ensures that the classroom activities and environment are developmentally appropriate and reflect the philosophy and curriculum of Head Start, the Educare Learning Network and Kingsley House. The Lead Teacher ensures that the individual needs of the children are met as mandated by federal, state and local standards. |Janitor/Maintenance 3/6/14||The Janitor works under the direction of the Educare Administrative Coordinator and the Educare Leadership Team to complete all janitorial/housekeeping duties as described below for Educare New Orleans. |Grant Writer/Research Associate 3/6/14||The Grant Writer is primarily responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Grant Writer will assemble and submit grant requests, establish and maintain personal contact and relationships with foundation contacts, conduct prospect research, and maintain a calendar of submissions and other deadlines. |Registered Nurse 3/4/14||The Registered Nurse provide individualized nursing care to participants enrolled in the Adult Services Program. Develop plans for care for all Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) participants. Supervise and monitor tasks completed by the LPN and nursing students. |Educare Teacher Assistant 3/4/14||The Educare Assistant Teacher works cooperatively with the Educare Lead Teacher to plan and implement the daily education program for the children. Under the reflective supervision of the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher will ensure that all classroom activities and environment are developmentally appropriate and meet the individual needs of children as mandated by federal, state, local and accreditation standards, and that they reflect the agency’s philosophy and curriculum – to include Head Start, the Educare Learning Network and Kingsley House.
