| Educare Preschool Lead Teacher 5/17/13 | The Lead Teacher is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the comprehensive education program in the classroom. The Lead Teacher ensures that the classroom activities and environment are developmentally appropriate and reflect the philosophy and curriculum of Head Start, the Educare Learning Network and Kingsley House. | Educare Infant / Toddler Lead Teacher 5/17/13 | The Lead Teacher is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the comprehensive education program in the classroom. | Educare Master Teacher 5/17/13 | The Educare Master Teacher facilitates full and effective implementation of Educare’s core features and evidence-based instructional practices to continuously improve teaching and learning with the aim of accelerating children’s learning, development and school readiness outcomes. Master Teachers provide teacher leadership in the 1) design, delivery and coordination of intensive professional development; 2) education program development; 3) facilitation of interdisciplinary collaboration; and 4) administrative support. The Educare Master Teacher provides leadership and direct supervision to all members of the teaching staff – as well as classroom interns and volunteers – and is responsible for assisting teaching staff in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate daily activities for children of all age groups in the program. | Early Head Start Caregiver 5/17/13 | The Caregiver provides leadership to Caregiver Aides, foster grandparents, and volunteers. The goal is to provide a child development experience for every child in the Caregiver’s class based on educational principles. The Caregiver is responsible for behaving in a positive manner, as an appropriate role model for the staff, parents, children and visitors. | Education Supervisor 5/17/13 | The Education Supervisor provides leadership and direct supervision to all members of the teaching staff and classroom volunteers. Responsible for assisting teachers in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate daily activities for children of all age groups in the program. | Educare Family Advocate 5/17/13 | The Educare Family Advocate is responsible for providing direct casework services to participants and parents receiving services through the Head Start Program, responsible for actively recruiting participants and maintaining communication among parents, staff and children, and serve as an advocate for the children and families enrolled in the program in addition to being responsible for maintaining up-to-date records on all student files and ensuring records are in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. | Family Preservation Therapist 5/1/13 | The Family Therapist provides in-home, intensive services to families identified at risk of having a child removed due to abuse, neglect, or mental and/or physical health problems. The therapist also advocates for families and believe that families can change. A respect for the confidentiality of the family is essential. Volunteer Opportunities
We value the spirit of volunteerism at Kingsley House and appreciate individuals and groups willing to offer their time to help our programs succeed. Opportunities are generally available on an as-needed basis, depending on the seasonal workload of each program, as well as other factors.
